Making an unpleasant experience pleasant since 1991!

Alder Street Auto Body is the only accredited ICBC auto body shop in Summerland that was founded in 1991 by Martin and Linda Van Alphen. Their oldest son, Kelsey, having “grown up in the shop” and been in the auto trade much of his life, became a red seal Auto Collision Repair Technician in 1999.

Kelsey and his wife, Katrina, purchased the family business from his parents in late 2005. In 2010 they undertook a renovation that expanded the shop by 1700 square feet, added a new spray booth, lunch room and wash bay. Currently they employ nine full time staff.
